Recently I asked my close friend Mei if she would like to be pen pals since I had just moved to an apartment I would be staying at for Uni for 12 months and she happily agreed about a month ago her wonderful letter came in but it was more than a letter!
In my mail was a rather plump box, decorated with lace and an origami heart, I hadn't been expecting a package at all so I was very surprised!!
The package it turned out contained way more than a simple letter it was actually a first semester in University care package!
Because Mei knows I want to be a pastry chef she sent me these wonderful pastry erasers they are so cute I'm almost afraid to use them.
Mei also knows I have a weakness for anything cute and for post-it-notes so she sent me a bunch of animal themed post it notes!
She also sent me a floral notebook which is super useful because I'd completely forgotten to buy a planner!
She sent me a heartfelt letter that made me smile so much and even drew me a little picture down at the bottom, I was really touched and moved to have received anything from her and am so glad we became pen pals.
