How many times can I write a post about my newest snail mail package before you guys and gals get bored? The world will never know because I have to document my friends kindness and gush about it for the world to see! I'm very grateful for all my friends and I'm thinking winning the lottery sounds good these days so I can shower them with even half the gifts and happiness they have bestowed upon me. Today's mail post is from my dear Canadian friend Mae (who spoils me too much and shall be receiving a very imposing birthday package soon).

 I hope you all had a Happy Easter! Sorry for the radio silence I've been focusing on my studies so much I haven't had time for much else but study and try not to panic. I finally got a little lull in my workload so this week I'll be returning to my outfit posts. Buona Pasquetta a tutti voi! Happy Pasquetta to all! In Italy the day after Easter is known as La Pasquetta it's a day to spend in leisure. The shops and schools are closed and everyone jet's off to go on picnics, to the mountains or beach or for a weekend trip to visit friends in other parts of Europe. Sadly, that day isn't celebrated in the States but I got something in the mail that made it seem like my own little holiday. Today though I have a little snail mail post! My friends spoil me to no ends seriously what would I do without them? Even though we don't live in the same state, and I haven't had the pleasure of meeting most of them face to face I feel like we are all family. I'm an avid letter writer and I'm so grateful to have friends to write to.

In the mail on New Year's Eve I was so astounded to find in my overlooked mail box that evening a package from my friend Soojin.

She sent me the shoes in a very,very padded box haha and the most wonderful letter which I most definitely will be writing a reply to.

These are the beautiful shoes in question platform sneakers in an ombré mint my favorite color and they come with normal laces and ribbon laces of course I had to put the ribbons in first.

I whipped up a fun outfit today for my first time out with the shoes.

My make up was very simple and feminine nothing too flashy I'd let the shoes do all the talking.

The shirt is actually a crop top pulled over a dress thought I'd remix it up a bit. The crop top of from Forever21, the dress was a gift from my sister and the fox purse is a gift from my friend but it's sold on Modcloth. I had so much fun walking around in three of my favorite things mint, lace and stripes.
