This past Tuesday I had the pleasure of being invited by my town sister's best friend to spend a day at the happiest place on earth and how could I say no?
We went to Animal Kingdom and Planet Hollywood since we have all been to Magic Kingdom countless times but never to either of these parks. Here we proceeded to become Wilderness Explorers which is a fun little side quest of The Animal Kingdom park where you can go around meeting Rangers and collecting sticker "badges" in your book to become a real life, bonafide explorer modeled after Russell in UP.
Out most important mission however was to meet as many characters as we possibly could and so we did we met Pochahontas first.
Then came Tarzan who was actually fairly civilized for a man of the jungle.
Perhaps are most anticipated meet and greet was Dough and Rusell who proceeded to be complete sweethearts. Doug asked my sister for a dance and had to give my sisters BF Kyra a warm dog welcome with a good lick.
Further we ventured into AK and happened upon the darling Chip & Dale who matched us with their Christmas attire!
After the Bug's Life show which I recommend because it's surprisingly cute and entertaining we had to snap a pic with Flick.
We weren't scared of Darth Vader okay so maybe I was a little nervous but we weren't called over to the dark side we kept our picture perfect smiles.
Chewy was a total sweetheart!
Our last character was this little sandy creature I'm not well versed in the Star Wars world so I'm not sure who they were supposed to be I just took these photos because my younger brother would never forgive me but I was so surprised to find a character our size!!
Now I'm sure you probably were curious about my outfit so a fun thing about Disney is that you can go Disney bounding! Incase you didn't know Disney Bounding is dressing up as your favorite Disney characters using every day clothes from your closet to emulate their outfits as closely as possible with your own fun twist. For my first Disney bound I was a Chrisrnas time version of Snow White and it really was a day to never forget.
