A Twist in Time

Today's look is a bit 50's inspired because let's face it they had a lot of great ideas back in the day when it came to fashion and music (everything else not so much). I woke up this morning expecting to have to throw on a sweater because it's been cold the last few days but not because it was downright miserable outside. Today's weather was rain with a side of gloom and relentless humidity needless to say, I stayed home and din't venture far for today's photos. It's the perfect curl up on the couch with some popcorn and watch a movie kind of day. We are watching Disney movies but if you have any movie suggestions I would love to hear them!

A closer look at my top which is the softest turtleneck ever that I totally didn't steal from my Mum's closet no spree and the lovely 50's inspired print on this dress. Seriously if you haven't heard of PUG and have a penchant for old-time inspired clothing and novelty prints now might be the time to check them out. It helps that this skirt comes in mint one of my favorite colors to up the cuteness factor. This petticoat is not also a fluff monster (literally it's so fluffy you have to see the video of me can caning on my instagram) it's extremely soft and comfortable, unlike most petticoats it doesn't scratch up your legs at all or anything, it's also a perfect twirling skirt.
