So today's outfit is a celebratory outfit! Why you ask? Well I'm glad you did ask dear reader! Today or more specifically this evening my family and I are off to the cinema to see Zootopia!! Have you seen it yet? I'm so excited I've decided to channel one of the main protagonists Judy Hopps for today's outfit. I don't know about you, but for me my favorite animals are bunnies & foxes followed by cats and swans respectively. So finally I have an animated film , by none other than my beloved Disney with the two main characters being a Fox and Bunny what more could a gal ask for?
For kicks and giggles here I am trying to pose an a very not me way more of why hello there it's about time you got that blinker changed, citizen sort of way. I actually didn't have any Police type of attire readily available. I was an inmate once for halloween (pink and stripes outfit ) but that's not exactly the look I was going for today! I thought I'd do a 1940'sesque twist on Judy's outfit with what I had readily available and it turned into a rather fun outfit. The pencil skirts of the 1940's were quite killer I mean you just have to google them and see and let's not forget Agent Carter who cuts quite a figure in her pencil skirts. I didn't want the outfit to be too business so I dressed it down with a sleeves top, a bowler hat and my trusty tap shoes turned into oxfords. I think it's always so much fun to channel earlier eras when dressing up! Don't worry though I don't want to return to said eras, because I like my rights like my ability to wear trousers and vote thank-you very much.
outfit details: Sleeveless collared shirt borrowed from my mum (similar), vintage pencil skirt, tap shoes turned into oxfords, bowler hat (similar)
