I know what you are thinking dear reader, hey this post looks a bit different from your usual posts, right? That's right! I started this blog off mobile blogging because I didn't have fancy camera at the time (and still don't thanks sis for taking photos of me with your snazzy camera). Mobile blogging might for many seasoned bloggers seem crude and clumsy but we all have to start somewhere right? When you are on the go and you didn't lug your camera with you your phone will just have to do! Don't knock it until you try it mobiles these days have really nice photo taking capabilities you all know what I'm taking about selfie masters!
It was such nice weather today in the upper 60's (that's Fahrenheit about 15 degrees Celsius) but with the sun shining at full blast it felt more like a nice windy day at the beach. Have you guessed what this week's outfit theme is? No? I'll give you a hint it starts with P and ends with s, yes it's none other than polkadots! As a polkadots aficionado I must tell you this doesn't even put a dent into my polkadot collection but I thought it'd be fun to stick with a theme and throw some polkadot outfits together that suited the weather. Of course Florida with it's crazy weather mood swings always has a gal scrambling to think up a new outfit when her weather app reports that, that Spring like weather she was rejoicing about was just a sneak peek and winter was still here to stay for just a bit longer. I had to whip up a more weather friendly outfit so I thought why not a dress that isn't all dots but definitely a bit polka and a fun coat. This blue coat is one of my favorites I'll have to coordinate a less hastily put together outfit so you can see it in all it's glory, it's got princess puffed sleeves and a peter pan collar and the best part about it? It's blue! Actually when I bought this coat I was looking for a red coat why? Well because I have been dreaming of owning the perfect red coat since I was little but it seems I'm going to have to hunt for coats in the little girl's aisle they always swamp me in the ladies section. This coat however is from the ladies section and fits like a glove needless to say I'm tickled pink because its so cute not to mention it makes a neutral outfit like this really pop.
details: Vintage 60's inspired shift dress, old tights (similar), B.A.I.T shoes, belt borrowed from another dress, Forever21 coat sold out (similar)
